About the Cinema

COLINSBURGH COMMUNITY CINEMA is a  film club for people living in Colinsburgh and the surrounding area. It was formed in March 2008

Our aim is to screen top quality films at a reasonable price. The Community Cinema screens 18 films per season.

If you are interested in joining the film club, you can purchase a year’s membership for £35.00 at the beginning of each season. This entitles you to see all 18 films.

Non-members will be able to purchase tickets at the door for £4.00, if seats are available. Pre- booking is strongly advised.

Colinsburgh Community Cinema has an inclusive membership policy.

Please note that we are unable to accept payment by Debit or Credit Card at present. Payment should be made by CASH or CHEQUE, or you can set up a Standing Order.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to become members, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult if the film’s certificate permits their attendance.

Each film has a Board of Censors’ certificate that the club must abide by.

Off the road parking is available  in the local primary school, next to the Town Hall that hosts the Community Cinema.

It is also possible to drive up to the entrance.  The Town Hall has disabled-access for those in wheelchairs. A loop system is available for those who are hard of hearing. Chairs with arms are also available for for those who find sitting and standing up problematic. Please make your request at the box office, and we’ll put them where you want to sit.

THE 2018-19 SEASON

Our eleventh FULL SEASON will continue with a film every second and fourth Friday of each month.

Members are also invited to bring along a friend for free once a season. We hope that this will attract new members once they see the quality of the screening and the range of films on offer.

Colinsburgh Community Cinema is a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers.
