Yearning to own a small patch of land and be more than a chicken sexer, the ambitious paterfamilias, Jacob Yi, relocates his Korean-American family: sceptical wife, Monica, and their children, David and Anne, from California to 1980s rural Arkansas. The plan is to start afresh and capture the elusive American Dream, by developing a 50-acre farm selling Korean vegetables. The family is challenged by the climate, the finance industry and their own shortcomings in this gentle re-framing of the American Dream.
The pandemic means that our Friday evenings will still be organized slightly differently. When you arrive there will be hand-wash available. You will need to wear a mask until you take your seat. You will also be expected to wear a mask when moving around the building. We also have track and trace procedures in place.
Chairs will be socially distanced and you will be able to take a red cross marker to ensure distancing once you are seated by placing it on the seat next to you.
