Patagonia explores the heritage of the forgotten Welsh communities of Argentina, through journeys taken by two different women as they attempt to escape from their mundane lives in order to find peace within themselves in a new setting. Argentinean Cerys (Marta Lubos) is an elderly woman who, accompanied by her anxious teenage nephew Alejandro (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart), returns to the Welsh farmlands where her mother was raised. In a parallel story, Wales native Gwen (Nia Roberts) an aspiring actress, is in a faltering relationship with her photographer boyfriend Rhys. To save the relationship the couple travel to Patagonia where Rhys is commissioned to photograph the forgotten Welsh Chapels of Patagonia.
The pandemic means that our Friday evenings will still be organized slightly differently. When you arrive there will be hand-wash available. You will need to wear a mask until you take your seat. You will also be expected to wear a mask when moving around the building. We also have track and trace procedures in place.
Chairs will be socially distanced and you will be able to take a red cross marker to ensure distancing once you are seated by placing it on the seat next to you.
